Roland/BOSS offers two types of sturdy metal footswitches for different applications. This is the FS-5U (silver), a momentary "unlatch"-type footswitch. Both footswitches can be connected using ordinary guitar cables. Please consult your owner's manual for compatibility.
The other Boss Footswitch is the FS-5L. It's a black latch-type footswitch with an LED to indicate status. it is available here
