PRS Custom 24-08 Salmon (Stained Neck) (Private Sock Color) (s/n:0429606)! Guitar comes with PRS Molded Hardshell Case!
PRS Custom 24 – Private Stock Colors Limited Edition – Salmon
The PRS Custom 24 has defined modern electric guitar design since its introduction, setting the standard for tone, playability, and craftsmanship. The Private Stock Colors Limited Edition elevates that legacy with exclusive finishes inspired by the PRS Private Stock program, offering players and collectors a rare opportunity to own one of PRS's most visually captivating production instruments.
Finished in the stunning Salmon Private Stock Color, this Custom 24 is both bold and refined. Rich coral and warm peach tones flow effortlessly across the figured maple top, revealing every curl, flame, and natural contour beneath a flawless high-gloss finish. The result is a finish that is elegant, distinctive, and impossible to overlook—one that changes beautifully with the light and ensures that no two guitars are exactly alike.
At its core is the guitar that has become the flagship of the PRS lineup. The carved figured maple top, mahogany back, 25-inch scale length, iconic 24-fret design, and PRS's renowned attention to detail combine to deliver exceptional balance, effortless playability, and remarkable tonal versatility. From pristine cleans to harmonically rich overdrive and articulate high-gain performance, the Custom 24 remains one of the most versatile instruments ever created.
Every detail reflects the uncompromising standards that have made PRS one of the world's premier guitar builders. Precision craftsmanship, premium tonewoods, impeccable fretwork, and flawless finishing come together in an instrument designed to inspire for a lifetime.
The Private Stock Colors Limited Edition is produced in strictly limited quantities, making each guitar an increasingly desirable addition for serious players and collectors. For those seeking a Custom 24 that stands apart from the ordinary while carrying the unmistakable DNA of PRS's Private Stock aesthetic, the Salmon finish represents one of the most striking and collectible offerings available today.

The Custom 24 is the quintessential PRS guitar, the iconic instrument that started it all back in 1985. The Custom 24-08 keeps many of the foundational specs as the original Custom – maple top, mahogany back and neck, 24 frets, 25” scale length, the PRS patented Gen III tremolo, and Phase III tuners with wing buttons – but adds a new level of versatility with its TCI pickups and EQ Mini-toggle switches.
TCI pickups are designed to offer a full, musical sound reminiscent of single-coil and soapbar tones. The dual EQ mini-toggle switches act as tuned high-pass filters when engaged (in the up position), removing shelved low-end and allowing the high frequencies through for more clarity and musical highs.
“The EQ switches were developed with and first featured on the Private Stock John McLaughlin model in 2023. Both John and I felt that they offered a different, but just as versatile, sound that played a significant role in the musicality of that guitar. I am happy that we are now extending this feature into more models.” – Paul Reed Smith
