Created in collaboration with Ed Sheeran and limited to just 1,000 pieces worldwide, this extraordinary SE Hollowbody I Piezo Baritone combines Sheeran’s passion for songwriting with his off-stage love of painting. The guitar is wrapped in the exact design of one of Ed’s 2025 “Cosmic Carpark” paintings, turning the instrument itself into a playable piece of art.

Art Meets Music

The Cosmic Splash finish immediately separates this guitar from virtually anything else in the PRS lineup. Rather than simply choosing a special color, PRS and Sheeran incorporated artwork directly connected to another side of Ed's creativity.

That concept continues onto the rosewood fretboard. Custom Media Button inlays — Play, Pause, Rewind, Fast-Forward and Stop — reference Sheeran's album project, while the Play symbol is also incorporated into the Ed Sheeran truss rod cover.

A Baritone With Two Distinct Voices

This isn't simply a collectible guitar. PRS gave the Cosmic Splash an unusually versatile musical platform.

The 27.7" baritone scale and B-to-B tuning give chords, riffs and layered arrangements a deeper foundation without sacrificing definition. A pair of PRS 85/15 “S” pickups provides the clarity, power and articulation expected from a modern PRS electric voice.

Then there is the piezo system.

The PRS/LR Baggs Piezo system adds convincing acoustic-style textures directly from the instrument. Players can explore the magnetic pickups, the piezo voice, or combinations of the two, making the Cosmic Splash especially interesting for songwriting, recording, looping and live performance.
