Here is an excellent opportunity to own a beautifully appointed PRS SE Angelus A50E in excellent pre-owned condition.

The A50E combines a solid Sitka spruce top with figured maple back and sides, but PRS's Hybrid “X”/Classical bracing gives this guitar a warmer, deeper and more dimensional character than many players expect from a maple-bodied acoustic.

Add an ebony fretboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, abalone purfling, PRS Bird inlays and PRS-voiced Fishman Sonitone electronics, and you have an acoustic-electric that's equally comfortable at home, in the studio or plugged in onstage.

Spruce + Figured Maple with a Different Voice

The combination of a solid Sitka spruce top and figured maple back and sides gives the A50E plenty of articulation and note definition, making it an excellent choice for players who move between strumming, flatpicking and fingerstyle.

But the PRS bracing design is an important part of what makes the A50E different.

PRS uses its Hybrid “X”/Classical bracing pattern, combining an X-brace behind the bridge with classical-style fan bracing across the belly. The design allows the top to vibrate freely while maintaining the structural support needed around the bridge.

The result is a maple-bodied acoustic with more warmth, depth and three-dimensional character than you might expect while retaining the clarity that makes maple so useful.

Angelus Cutaway – Built to Be Played

The Angelus Cutaway body balances projection with comfortable playability while providing easy access farther up the neck.

A mahogany neck with PRS Wide Fat profile provides a substantial, supportive feel, while the ebony fretboard, 25.3" scale and 11.81" radius create a smooth playing surface for both chord work and individual-note playing.

PRS Bird inlays add the unmistakable PRS identity without overwhelming the traditional acoustic appearance.

PRS-Voiced Fishman Sonitone Electronics

When it's time to plug in, the PRS-voiced Fishman Sonitone system keeps things simple.

An undersaddle pickup captures the instrument while discreet soundhole-mounted Volume and Tone controls let you make adjustments without cutting a large preamp panel into the side of the guitar.

It's an uncomplicated system designed to take the natural character of the A50E from rehearsal to recording, stage or PA.
