Ernie Ball Nickel Wound Electric Guitar Strings are made from nickel plated steel wire wrapped around tin plated hex shaped steel core wire. The plain strings are made of specially tempered tin plated high carbon steel producing a well balanced tone for your guitar.

    These strings sound great! They don’t break very often, and still manage to hold their tone for weeks at a time. Plus, they’re individually enveloped, which keeps things straight. No more screwing up which strings come wrapped together and getting them mixed up. I like these strings!
