CLOSED BACK + FRONT PORTED

The design of this cabinet is what makes it especially interesting.

Rather than being a conventional sealed 1x12, MESA combines closed-back construction with a tuned front Tri-Port.

That design allows the WideBody Closed Back to produce the low-end resonance and punch players expect from a closed cabinet while retaining detail and clarity.

The result is a remarkably versatile 1x12.

Clean sounds have a substantial foundation. Medium-gain tones gain thickness and authority. Turn up the gain and the cabinet has the tightness and punch necessary for aggressive modern guitar sounds.

CELESTION C90 BLACK SHADOW

At the heart of the cabinet is MESA's Celestion C90 Black Shadow.

The 22 3/4" width provides greater internal cabinet volume than a traditional compact 1x12 design.
