The MESA/Boogie 2x12 Recto Horizontal has earned its reputation for a reason.

THE 2x12 THAT THINKS BIG

The story behind this cabinet is one of the reasons we like it so much at Northeast Music Center.
MESA developed the original 2x12 Recto Horizontal using dimensions inspired by the lower two-speaker section of its Standard Oversized Rectifier 4x12.
That design approach helped create a 2x12 with unusually substantial:

It isn't intended to make a 2x12 magically become a 4x12.
