Birds of a Feather – From Private Stock to Core

The centerpiece of this guitar isn't simply its top.

The Birds of a Feather inlay originated as a Private Stock concept and, for this 2026 Limited Edition, makes its first appearance on a PRS Core Series instrument.

Rather than treating each bird as a separate marker, the design uses Ebony, Figured Maple, contrasting woods and negative space to create a composition that flows across the fretboard.

Individual birds become part of a larger visual pattern, giving the design movement from one end of the neck to the other.
