Private Stock Laguna on a 10 Top

The first thing that separates this guitar from a standard McCarty 594 is impossible to miss.

Laguna.

Pulled from the PRS Private Stock color palette, Laguna gives this 10 Top Flame Maple an extraordinary combination of depth and movement.

And that's important with a PRS 10 Top.

The finish shouldn't overpower the maple underneath it—it should allow the figure to become part of the color itself. As the viewing angle changes, different areas of the flame emerge, creating the dimensional effect that makes a great PRS top so difficult to capture completely in photographs.

The Hybrid hardware provides a final bit of contrast and gives the guitar a sophisticated visual finish without competing with that remarkable top.

McCarty 594 Feel – With a Tremolo

The McCarty 594 platform has become one of PRS's most respected interpretations of vintage-inspired electric-guitar design.

The McCarty III pickups provide the full, articulate humbucker voice expected from the modern McCarty platform, while the independent push/pull controls allow either pickup to access a clearer tapped voice.

That gives the player considerably more control than a single master coil-tap system. Neck and bridge can be configured independently, making it easy to move between full humbuckers, alternate tapped textures and combinations of the two.
