Charcoal Black – 10 Top – Natural Binding

Charcoal Black is one of those PRS finishes that can completely change depending on the maple beneath it.

On this guitar, the 10 Top Flame Maple provides strong, consistent figuring across the carved top. The dark Charcoal Black stain works its way through the flame while still allowing the figuring to move dramatically as the guitar catches different light.

Then PRS leaves the edge of the maple natural.

That natural binding creates a sharp visual break between the dark top and mahogany back while simultaneously emphasizing the carved shape of the instrument.

It's classic PRS design: dramatic without needing to be excessive.

A Stained Flame Maple Neck Changes Everything
