This McCarty Trem Wood Library has a 10 Top Quilted Maple top in Dark Cherry Sunburst, a mahogany back, an East Indian Rosewood neck, a Brazilian Rosewood fretboard, McCarty III covered pickups, a Gen III tremolo and Hybrid hardware. It is part of the 30th Anniversary collection celebrating Jack Gretz’s relationship with PRS Guitars. Because of the Brazilian Rosewood fretboard, it is for domestic U.S. sale only. It was built by PRS in Stevensville, Maryland, and comes with a PRS D1 molded hardshell case.

About the Guitar
Dark Cherry Sunburst over 10 Top Quilt. Deep cherry around the perimeter frames the quilt and shifts to a warmer center, so the movement of the maple stays visible.
Rosewood neck and fretboard. An East Indian Rosewood neck with a Brazilian Rosewood fretboard separates this guitar from a standard McCarty. The Pattern profile has a substantial, comfortable feel.
Domestic sale only. Because of the Brazilian Rosewood fretboard, this guitar is offered for domestic U.S. sale only.
McCarty III covered pickups. They have a vintage-inspired voice with good clarity and dynamic response, covering articulate cleans, warm rhythm and overdriven leads. Controls are one volume, one push/pull tone and a 3-way selector. The push/pull widens the tonal range without adding switches.
Gen III tremolo. Smooth feel and tuning stability, from subtle chord movement and vibrato to larger pitch effects.
Hybrid hardware. Nickel and gold components contrast with the Dark Cherry Sunburst finish.
Inlays. J Birds with Green Abalone outlines and Paua centers. The shell changes subtly with the light against the dark Brazilian Rosewood.
30th Anniversary. This guitar was made as part of the celebration of Jack Gretz’s 30 years with PRS Guitars. A custom 30th Anniversary truss rod cover identifies it as part of that collection.
Made in Maryland. Built by PRS at the Paul Reed Smith Guitars factory in Stevensville, Maryland, USA.
