PRS SE Chleo Herman Li Signature Orchid Dusk (s/n: CTII010576)! Guitar comes with PRS Padded GigBag!

Built for speed, precision, extreme tonal versatility, and unapologetically modern performance, the PRS SE Chleo Herman Li Signature in Orchid Dusk (s/n: CTII010576) brings one of the most innovative recent PRS signature designs into the SE Series.

Developed in close collaboration with Herman Li of DragonForce, the SE Chleo isn't simply another high-output guitar with an artist's name attached. Its sculpted lightweight body, exceptionally thin Chleo neck profile, 20" radius ebony fretboard, Floyd Rose 1000 tremolo, and signature Fishman Fluence Omniforce electronics were engineered around the demands of a highly technical modern player.

And in Orchid Dusk, it has a look every bit as distinctive as its performance.

Awaken the Dragon

The PRS SE Chleo grew out of the extensive development work behind Herman Li's original Chleo Limited Edition. Rather than simply recreating the appearance of that guitar at a lower price point, PRS retained many of the features responsible for the Chleo's distinctive playing experience.

That begins with the body.

A mahogany back is paired with a sculpted maple top and flame maple veneer, creating a remarkably thin, lightweight instrument designed to remain comfortable through long rehearsals, recording sessions, and high-energy performances.

PRS also modified its traditional body carve and upper-fret access specifically for the Chleo. The result is a guitar that feels purpose-built for players who spend as much time at the top of the fretboard as they do playing open chords.

The Chleo Neck – Built for Speed

This is where the SE Chleo really separates itself from a conventional PRS.

Its multi-ply maple neck uses the dedicated Chleo neck shape, measuring just 23/32" deep at the 1/2 fret. Combined with a very flat 20" ebony fretboard radius, 24 jumbo frets, and a 25.5" scale length, the playing surface is designed around speed, accuracy, wide bends, and highly technical playing.

PRS also reinforces the neck with high-modulus carbon fiber strength rods in addition to its double-acting truss rod. This helps create a strong, stable neck while supporting sustain and responsiveness.

Completing the fretboard are Herman Li's distinctive Eclipse Dragon inlays—an unmistakable visual signature that gives the Chleo an identity all its own.

Fishman Fluence Omniforce Herman Li Signature Pickups

The electronics are one of the biggest reasons the SE Chleo is such an extraordinary instrument.

PRS equips it with the same family of Fishman Fluence Signature Series Omniforce Herman Li pickups developed for the original Chleo Limited Edition.

This H-S-H configuration uses Herman Li's signature Omniforce bridge, middle, and neck pickups with three distinct voices per pickup and an extensive switching system capable of producing up to 13 unique tonal combinations.

That means the Chleo isn't limited to one version of the modern high-gain sound.

It can deliver thick aggressive rhythm tones, focused high-output sounds, fluid lead voices, clear single-coil textures, and numerous combinations between them. Whether you're running into a traditional high-gain tube amplifier, a modern modeling rig, or recording directly through plugins, the SE Chleo gives you an enormous tonal palette from a single guitar.

Performance-Friendly Switching

Despite everything happening electronically, the control layout remains surprisingly straightforward.

You get:

• Push/Pull Volume
• Push/Pull Tone
• 5-Way Blade Pickup Selector

Those controls interact with the Fishman Fluence system to unlock the guitar's different voices and pickup combinations without covering the instrument in switches.

It's an important distinction. The Chleo has sophisticated electronics, but they were designed to remain usable during an actual performance.

Floyd Rose 1000 Tremolo

Herman Li's playing style demands a tremolo system capable of handling extreme pitch manipulation, so the SE Chleo is equipped with a Floyd Rose 1000 Tremolo with PRS Locking Nut.

The low-profile system allows everything from subtle vibrato to aggressive dives and dramatic pitch effects while the locking design helps maintain tuning stability under demanding use.

PRS Designed Tuners with Wing Buttons complete the hardware package, while the Smoked Black hardware works beautifully against the Orchid Dusk finish.

Orchid Dusk

Then there's the finish.

Orchid Dusk was one of the original colors chosen for the USA Chleo Limited Edition and carries beautifully into the SE version. Over the flame maple veneer and sculpted body, it gives the guitar an appearance that can shift dramatically depending on the angle and lighting.

Combined with the dark ebony fretboard, Eclipse Dragon inlays, Smoked Black hardware, and aggressive modern silhouette, Orchid Dusk makes this Chleo instantly recognizable without looking like another conventional metal guitar.
