The PRS SE Custom 24-08 in Lake Blue takes the iconic Custom 24 platform and gives the player considerably more tonal flexibility without making the guitar complicated to use.

At its core, you still get the ingredients that have made the Custom 24 a PRS favorite: 24 frets, 25" scale length, maple top, mahogany back, Wide Thin maple neck, rosewood fretboard, PRS tremolo and signature Bird inlays.

What makes the 24-08 different is its electronics. A pair of PRS TCI “S” humbuckers, combined with two independent mini-toggle coil taps and a 3-way pickup selector, provide eight distinct pickup configurations ranging from full humbucker power to clear, articulate single-coil sounds.

Eight Pickup Configurations

This is the feature that separates the SE Custom 24-08 from the standard SE Custom 24.

Each TCI “S” humbucker has its own dedicated mini-toggle coil tap, allowing you to switch either pickup independently between humbucker and single-coil operation.

Combined with the 3-way pickup selector, you get eight configurations:

PRS TCI “S” Pickups
