ACADEMY SERIES – START WITH A BETTER GUITAR

There's a simple idea behind Taylor's Academy Series that we strongly believe in:

A developing guitarist shouldn't have to fight the instrument.

Poor action, uncomfortable necks, awkward body dimensions and inconsistent construction can make learning guitar unnecessarily difficult.

The Academy 12e LTD takes a different approach.

Its compact Grand Concert body, shorter scale and slim neck profile create a guitar that's comfortable from the first chord, while Taylor's construction standards provide the consistency and playability that can help a new player concentrate on actually making music.

TORREFIED SITKA SPRUCE

Torrefaction uses a controlled process to alter certain physical characteristics of the wood, with the goal of producing some of the responsiveness and stability associated with seasoned material.
