Tom Anderson Angel Player Arctic White Aqua Pearl (s/n: 05-27-26N)! Guitar comes with Tom Anderson Logo GigBag!
The Tom Anderson Angel Player in Arctic White with Aqua Pearl is what happens when a boutique builder designs a 24-fret guitar around the needs of the player first—and then makes it look spectacular anyway.
The Angel Player was conceived as the working musician's version of the Angel: an all-tonewood solidbody, 24-fret access, exceptional ergonomics and a clean, purposeful design without relying on a figured maple top for its identity. This particular guitar takes that performance-driven foundation and finishes it in gorgeous Arctic White with Aqua Pearl, a sophisticated high-gloss finish that reveals a subtle blue-green pearlescent shimmer as the light moves across the instrument.
Underneath that understated exterior is a serious performance machine: an Alder body, Maple neck and fretboard, 24 Jumbo frets, Even-Taper -.20 neck profile, 25.5" scale, 12"–14" compound radius, reverse headstock, H1+ and H3+ humbuckers, and a Sunken Locking Tremolo with locking nut.
As a Premier Authorized Tom Anderson Dealer, Northeast Music Center is proud to offer serial number 05-27-26N to the player looking for boutique craftsmanship without sacrificing the speed, versatility and reliability of a modern performance guitar.

THE ANGEL PLAYER – BUILT FOR THE PERSON PLAYING IT
The name tells you a lot.
Angel Player.
Tom Anderson initially created the model as the player's version of the Angel—a 24-fret instrument centered on tone, handling and performance.
Instead of using a figured maple top as the guitar's visual centerpiece, the Angel Player relies on a hand-selected tonewood body and a beautifully sculpted silhouette.
That distinction is important.
The objective is not to remove luxury from the instrument. It's to put the investment where a serious guitarist experiences it: the neck, fretwork, resonance, ergonomics, pickups, switching and hardware.
The result is a guitar that looks clean and sophisticated but becomes considerably more impressive once it's actually in your hands.
ARCTIC WHITE WITH AQUA PEARL
This particular finish is a perfect match for the Angel Player philosophy.
At first glance, Arctic White gives the guitar an exceptionally clean, almost minimalist appearance.
Then the light hits it.
The Aqua Pearl introduces a subtle pearlescent blue-green shimmer that changes with lighting and viewing angle. It doesn't overwhelm the shape of the instrument or turn the guitar into a visual novelty.
Instead, it rewards a second look.
Under stage lighting, in a studio or simply moving the guitar in your hands, the finish develops another dimension.
Against the black hardware, black pickups and dark control appointments, the Arctic White/Aqua Pearl combination gives serial number 05-27-26N a modern, almost purpose-built appearance.
ALDER – NO FIGURED TOP REQUIRED
The body is constructed from Alder, one of the classic electric-guitar tonewoods and an ideal choice for the Angel Player concept.
There is no figured maple cap here.
No pickguard.
No binding.
Nothing unnecessary.
Instead, Tom Anderson allows the sculpted body and its tonewood foundation to define the guitar.
The Angel silhouette also provides excellent access to the upper register, something that becomes particularly important when you're working with a full 24-fret neck.
Front and rear body contours make the instrument comfortable against the player whether standing onstage or sitting through a long recording session.
It's an excellent example of form following function—and looking great in the process.
24 JUMBO FRETS – EVEN-TAPER -.20
The neck specification makes the intentions of this guitar even clearer.
You have 24 Jumbo frets, a traditional 25.5-inch scale length, Maple neck, Maple fretboard and Tom Anderson's Even-Taper -.20 neck profile.
The fretboard uses a 12"–14" compound radius, gradually flattening as you travel toward the upper frets.
That combination is made for movement.
Chords remain comfortable lower on the neck, while the flatter upper register provides an excellent platform for bending, vibrato and faster lead playing.
The 1 11/16" nut width provides familiar spacing, while the offset low-side fret dots contribute to the clean, contemporary aesthetic.
And then there's the reverse headstock, which gives this Angel Player just enough attitude to tell you what kind of guitar you're dealing with before you've played the first note.
NO PICKUP RINGS – AND THERE'S A REASON
One of the more interesting details of the Angel Player is something that's easy to overlook.
There are no pickup rings.
Visually, that contributes to the exceptionally clean lines of the instrument.
But Tom Anderson's reasoning goes deeper than appearance.
Removing the traditional pickup-ring arrangement allows the neck pickup to be positioned nearer the 24th-fret harmonic area, helping Anderson optimize the neck-pickup position on a guitar with two full octaves of fret access.
That's a perfect example of what makes this instrument interesting.
A design decision that looks cleaner also serves a musical purpose.
H1+ & H3+ – TWO HUMBUCKERS, MUCH MORE THAN TWO SOUNDS
This Angel Player is loaded with a Tom Anderson H1+ in the neck and H3+ in the bridge.
That pairing gives the guitar a strong dual-humbucker foundation, with the H1+ covering the neck position and the more powerful H3+ providing the authority needed at the bridge.
But the pickup configuration is only half the story.
Tom Anderson combines the pair with its versatile 5-Way switching arrangement, including Series and Split functionality.
That gives the player access to a considerably broader tonal palette than the two-humbucker appearance might initially suggest.
Full humbucking sounds provide weight, punch and authority.
Split combinations open the door to leaner, more articulate textures.
That versatility is particularly appropriate for the Angel Player.
This is supposed to be the guitar you can take to work.
SUNKEN LOCKING TREMOLO
Then we get to one of the most performance-oriented features on this build: the Sunken Locking Tremolo with locking nut.
For players who expect a tremolo system to do considerably more than add subtle shimmer to a chord, this setup changes the personality of the guitar.
The recessed or “sunken” installation provides the physical range needed for expressive pitch movement in both directions, while the locking nut and locking tremolo architecture are designed around stability when the playing becomes considerably more aggressive.
Paired with the guitar's 24 Jumbo frets, compound radius and reverse headstock, the tremolo reinforces exactly what the rest of the specification already tells us:
This Angel Player was built to perform.
BLACK HARDWARE – THE RIGHT CHOICE
The hardware choice finishes the design beautifully.
Against Arctic White with Aqua Pearl, the black hardware provides strong visual contrast without becoming distracting.
Black locking tuners, bridge, pickups and knurled controls create a cohesive appearance from headstock to body.
It's modern.
It's aggressive.
But the subtle Aqua Pearl keeps the guitar from looking purely utilitarian.
That's a difficult balance to achieve, and this guitar gets it right.
A BOUTIQUE GUITAR YOU DON'T HAVE TO BABY
One of our favorite things about the Angel Player concept is that there's no contradiction between boutique craftsmanship and being a working guitar.
This is an instrument you can appreciate for the precision of its construction and still take straight to a gig.
The Alder body isn't there to impress someone reading a list of exotic woods.
The 24 Jumbo frets aren't decorative.
The compound radius isn't decorative.
The locking tremolo certainly isn't decorative.
Neither are the H1+/H3+ pickups or expanded switching.
Everything points toward one objective:
Make the guitar exceptionally good at being played.
That's exactly the kind of boutique instrument we appreciate at Northeast Music Center.
PREMIER AUTHORIZED TOM ANDERSON DEALER
Tom Anderson guitars appeal to a particular kind of customer.
Usually, it's someone who already knows what excellent guitars feel like.
They're looking beyond a name on the headstock and paying attention to fretwork, neck shape, balance, tuning stability, pickup response and the thousand small details that determine whether an instrument disappears in the player's hands or constantly reminds you that you're fighting it.
As a Premier Authorized Tom Anderson Dealer, Northeast Music Center is excited to represent guitars built to this level.
And serial number 05-27-26N is an especially compelling example.
It has the understated sophistication of Arctic White with Aqua Pearl, but underneath that finish is a thoroughly modern 24-fret performance guitar.
ULTRA-PLUSH TOM ANDERSON LOGO GIG BAG INCLUDED
This Angel Player comes complete with the Tom Anderson Logo Ultra-Plush Protective Gig Bag, providing high-quality protection while keeping the guitar considerably easier to transport than a traditional heavy hardshell case.
THE PLAYER'S ANGEL
That's ultimately the best way to understand this guitar.
It isn't an Angel stripped down to become less special.
It's an Angel focused around the player.
Alder body. Maple neck and fretboard. Even-Taper -.20. 24 Jumbo frets. 25.5-inch scale. Compound radius. H1+ and H3+ pickups. Expanded 5-way switching. Sunken Locking Tremolo. Reverse headstock.
And then Tom Anderson wrapped the entire package in Arctic White with Aqua Pearl.
For the serious guitarist looking for an elite boutique instrument that was designed first and foremost to be played, Northeast Music Center is proud to offer this exceptional Tom Anderson Angel Player.
