Mesa Boogie 90's Triple Rectifier - Black Bronco
150 watts. Six 6L6 power tubes. Three 5U4GB rectifier tubes. Two channels. This is the massive '90s Triple Rectifier experience brought back for a new generation.
Few amplifiers have had the impact on modern heavy guitar that the MESA/Boogie Rectifier family has—and the '90s Triple Rectifier represents the platform at its most unapologetically powerful.
With 150 watts of Class A/B tube power, two fully independent channels, selectable tube or silicon-diode rectification, and the unmistakable response of six 6L6 power tubes, this is an amplifier built for enormous low-end authority, aggressive attack, layered harmonics, and the kind of headroom that keeps heavy rhythm tones tight and commanding.
Available from Northeast Music Center, the '90s Triple Rectifier isn't simply about being louder. It's about the feel, authority, punch, and scale that come from this legendary high-powered Rectifier architecture.

THE ORIGINAL TWO-CHANNEL TRIPLE RECTIFIER EXPERIENCE
This is important.
The '90s Triple Rectifier isn't simply the current three-channel Triple Rectifier dressed in vintage cosmetics. MESA returned to the two-channel architecture associated with the original '90s amplifier, bringing back the directness and enormous sonic footprint that helped establish the Triple Rectifier's reputation.
Channel 1—the familiar Orange channel—provides Clean or variable Vintage high-gain operation and can be configured for Modern high gain using the Channel Style/Cloning switch.
Channel 2—the legendary Red channel—delivers the aggressive high-gain Rectifier character players expect, with Channel Style/Cloning providing additional Vintage flexibility.
Each channel gets its own Gain, Treble, Middle, Bass, Presence and Master controls, allowing you to create two genuinely independent sounds.
150 WATTS — AND IT'S NOT JUST ABOUT VOLUME
Why 150 watts?
Because wattage changes much more than how loud an amplifier gets.
Six 6L6 power tubes give the Triple Rectifier tremendous headroom and low-frequency authority. Under aggressive palm-muted playing and lower tunings, that additional power helps the bottom end remain controlled while preserving the immediate pick attack and percussive response that made these amplifiers such formidable rhythm machines.
Where lower-powered amplifiers can begin compressing and softening as they're pushed, the Triple has enormous reserves of power.
The result is weight, punch, clarity and authority.
For the player standing in front of the cabinet, that's something you don't just hear.
You feel it.
TUBE OR SILICON-DIODE RECTIFICATION
One of the defining elements of the Rectifier experience is right there in the name.
The '90s Triple allows you to select between three 5U4GB tube rectifiers or silicon diodes, dramatically changing the amplifier's response beneath your hands.
Tube rectification provides a softer, more elastic response with additional give and bloom.
Switch to silicon diodes and the amplifier becomes tighter, faster and more immediate—particularly effective when maximum definition and attack are required from high-gain rhythm tones.
Combine that with MESA's BOLD/SPONGY power switch, and you have another way of altering the feel and response of this massive power section.
SIX 6L6s. THREE RECTIFIER TUBES. NO APOLOGIES.
Turn the amplifier around and the Triple Rectifier's intentions become obvious.
Six 6L6 power tubes, five 12AX7 preamp tubes and three 5U4GB rectifier tubes make this an impressive piece of tube amplification before you even plug in a guitar.
And while 6L6s deliver the classic Rectifier foundation, MESA includes a 6L6/EL34 Bias Select switch, giving players the option of exploring the different response and character of EL34 power tubes without requiring conventional rebiasing.
BLACKED-OUT RECTIFIER ATTITUDE
The Black Bronco version looks exactly as serious as this amplifier sounds.
Black Bronco vinyl, Black Diamond Plate, black chassis, black Speed knobs and black appointments create an appropriately aggressive presentation while retaining the unmistakable silhouette of one of rock's most recognizable amplifier heads.
It's simultaneously classic Rectifier and distinctly sinister.
At Northeast Music Center, we believe an amplifier of this caliber should be presented as more than a collection of specifications. The Triple Rectifier became legendary because of what happens when those specifications come together—the enormous low end, percussive attack, harmonic complexity and physical response players associate with a great Rectifier.
For longtime MESA players who remember the original two-channel Triples, this is an opportunity to experience that architecture in a brand-new amplifier.
For players who weren't there the first time around, Northeast Music Center offers the chance to discover why the Triple Rectifier became such an important part of modern guitar history.
150 watts. Six 6L6s. Three tube rectifiers. Two channels. One unmistakable sound.
The '90s Triple Rectifier is back.
