FOUR 6V6 POWER TUBES

At the heart of the California Tweed are:

4 × MESA 6V6 power tubes.

6V6 tubes have long been associated with some of the most beloved American guitar amplifiers ever built.

They can deliver beautiful clean tones, but what makes them particularly addictive is what happens as they're pushed.

The response becomes softer.

Harmonics begin to bloom.

And overdrive develops naturally rather than feeling disconnected from the clean sound underneath it.
