Artist Flame Maple in Dark Cherry Sunburst

At the heart of this Wood Library build is a beautiful Artist Flame Maple top.

Artist-grade maple gives the guitar the visual foundation expected from a special Wood Library instrument, and Dark Cherry Sunburst is an ideal finish for showing it off.

The rich cherry center transitions into deeper coloration toward the perimeter of the carved top, emphasizing both the figuring of the maple and the sculpted lines of the McCarty body.

Underneath that Artist Flame Maple top is a Mahogany back, preserving the classic tonal foundation at the heart of the McCarty design.

It is a combination that feels immediately familiar to longtime PRS players, but the elevated top, Wood Library appointments, and anniversary significance make this particular guitar something very different from a standard-production McCarty.

Mahogany Neck & East Indian Rosewood Veneer

The Mahogany neck continues the traditional foundation of the instrument and is carved to PRS's Pattern profile.
