The PRS Sonzera 20 Indigo Blue Limited Edition takes one of PRS’s most versatile all-tube combo amplifiers and gives it a striking limited-production look. Wrapped in Indigo Blue Tolex with Wheat grille cloth and silver piping, this special 2026 version stands apart visually while delivering everything players love about the Sonzera platform. Two Channels – Two Distinct Personalities

The Clean Channel is voiced to deliver the spacious, dimensional character associated with classic American amplifiers of the mid-1960s. It has plenty of clarity and headroom, making it an excellent pedal platform while remaining responsive enough to reveal the personality of the guitar plugged into it. PRS gives the Clean channel dedicated Volume, Treble and Bass controls.

Move over to the Gain Channel, and the Sonzera becomes an entirely different animal. Dedicated Drive and Level controls allow you to move from a slightly pushed clean sound through crunchy rhythm tones and into considerably heavier distortion. Because the two channels are closely related circuit-wise, you can also set the Gain channel as essentially a boosted version of your clean sound rather than creating a radically different voice.

A dedicated Bright switch adds extra high-frequency definition and attack to the Gain channel, while its full three-band EQ gives you considerably more control over your overdriven tone.

Real Tube Tone at a Very Usable 20 Watts

The Sonzera 20 uses a pair of 5881 power tubes along with four 12AX7/ECC83 preamp tubes, giving the amplifier the response, dynamics and harmonic character players expect from a genuine tube amplifier.

Its 20-watt output hits a particularly useful sweet spot. There's enough power for rehearsals and many live situations, yet it remains manageable enough for recording, home studios and players who want to experience a responsive tube amplifier without moving into a large high-powered rig.

Celestion V-Type 12" Speaker

PRS pairs the Sonzera 20 with a 12-inch Celestion V-Type speaker. The V-Type complements the amplifier's wide tonal range, helping the cleans remain articulate while giving driven sounds the punch and authority expected from a serious 1x12 tube combo.

Add the built-in spring reverb, global Presence control and effects loop, and the Sonzera becomes an extremely flexible foundation for both straightforward guitar-and-amp setups and more elaborate pedalboards.

And then there is the look.

The Indigo Blue Tolex, Wheat grille cloth and silver piping transform the Sonzera into something considerably different from the typical black combo amplifier. PRS introduced Indigo Blue alongside Black Paisley as special limited-edition Sonzera and HDRX amplifier colorways for 2026, with PRS specifically noting their extremely limited worldwide availability.
