MESA/Boogie Mark V:35 1x12 Combo Amplifier – Black Comet Vinyl / Sahara Wedgewood Grille – Limited Edition
Only 100 produced worldwide—and this one gets something especially important underneath the grille: a Celestion Vintage 30 specifically ordered for this limited-edition Mark V:35.
The MESA/Boogie Mark V:35 has long been one of the sweet spots in the Mark Series lineup, packing genuine Mark Series architecture, three selectable power levels, six distinct modes, the legendary 5-band Graphic EQ, spring reverb, and professional connectivity into a compact 1x12 combo.
This Limited Edition Black Comet / Sahara Wedgewood version takes that proven platform somewhere considerably more distinctive.
MESA produced only 100 of these amplifiers worldwide, dressing the cabinet in striking Black Comet vinyl with a Sahara Wedgewood grille and—most importantly—installing an 8-ohm Celestion Vintage 30 in place of the Celestion C90 normally associated with the Mark V:35 combo.
Available from Northeast Music Center, this is more than a special-color Mark V:35. The Vintage 30 gives this limited run its own sonic personality as well.

THE CELESTION VINTAGE 30 MAKES THIS ONE DIFFERENT
This is the detail we don't want a serious MESA shopper to miss.
A standard Mark V:35 combo is commonly associated with MESA's proprietary Celestion C90. For this special run, however, MESA fitted the amplifier with a Celestion Vintage 30.
That changes more than a line on the specification sheet.
The Vintage 30 is famous for its strong midrange presence, harmonic complexity, focused attack, and ability to cut through a dense mix. Pair those characteristics with the Mark V:35's IIC+, Mark IV, and Extreme modes and you have a particularly compelling combination for players who live in the amplifier's higher-gain territory.
Crunch tones gain attitude and presence. Lead sounds have a strong vocal quality. Aggressive rhythm tones benefit from the Vintage 30's focused response.
And because this speaker was specifically selected for the limited run, it's part of what gives this particular Mark V:35 its identity.
At Northeast Music Center, we consider that much more important than simply calling this a different-colored Mark V:35.
TWO CHANNELS — SIX DISTINCT MESA VOICES
The Mark V:35 takes decades of Mark Series development and distills it into two exceptionally capable channels.
CHANNEL 1: CLEAN / FAT / CRUNCH
Clean delivers the articulate, dimensional response expected from a great MESA clean platform.
Fat adds additional body and warmth, making it an excellent choice for expressive clean playing and edge-of-breakup sounds.
Crunch moves the amplifier into muscular rhythm and classic overdrive territory.
Then Channel 2 opens the door to some of the most celebrated sounds in MESA history.
CHANNEL 2: MARK IIC+ / MARK IV / EXTREME
Mark IIC+ brings the tight, articulate and harmonically rich high-gain character associated with one of the most coveted amplifiers MESA ever built.
Mark IV adds the saturated authority and flexibility associated with another landmark generation of the Mark Series.
Extreme pushes the amplifier toward an even more aggressive, immediate response for modern high-gain applications.
This isn't simply a clean channel and a dirty channel.
It's six carefully voiced MESA personalities inside one compact amplifier.
35 / 25 / 10 WATTS — SELECTABLE BY CHANNEL
MESA's Multi-Watt design gives you 35, 25 or 10 watts, and the power setting can be selected independently for each channel.
That matters because wattage changes more than volume.
Use 35 watts when you want maximum punch, headroom, and authority.
Move to 25 watts when you want a different balance of response and power-section interaction.
Drop to 10 watts for a more elastic response and easier access to power-tube character at manageable levels.
You might run Channel 1 at 35 watts for clean headroom while setting Channel 2 to 10 watts for a completely different playing feel.
One amplifier can therefore behave very differently from channel to channel.
THE LEGENDARY FIVE-BAND GRAPHIC EQ
Few amplifier features are more closely associated with MESA/Boogie than those five sliders.
The Mark V:35 includes MESA's 5-band Graphic EQ, giving players powerful control over the amplifier's final frequency response beyond the traditional Bass, Middle, and Treble controls.
Dial in the famous Mark Series V-shaped response, add low-frequency authority, alter the critical midrange, increase attack, or create a completely different EQ curve for live use.
The Graphic EQ is also footswitchable, making it useful as a genuine performance tool.
CABCLONE DIRECT OUT + HEADPHONES
The Mark V:35 may draw heavily from classic MESA history, but it's designed for modern musicians.
Its built-in CabClone speaker simulator provides a balanced XLR direct output for recording or sending the amplifier directly to a PA.
A dedicated headphone output also makes private playing possible when a conventional speaker setup isn't practical.
Combine that with the buffered Effects Loop, long-spring reverb, and comprehensive footswitching and this compact combo becomes an extremely capable stage, studio, rehearsal, and home amplifier.
44 POUNDS OF REAL BOOGIE
One of the Mark V:35's great strengths is how much amplifier MESA fits into a traditional compact Boogie enclosure.
At only 18 3/4 inches wide, this is a legitimately portable professional combo.
Yet inside are four EL84 power tubes, six 12AX7s, a 12-inch Vintage 30, spring reverb, the Graphic EQ, multiple power configurations, and the circuitry necessary to produce six distinct amplifier modes.
The finished amplifier weighs 44 pounds—substantial enough to feel like the serious tube amplifier it is without approaching the size and weight of a traditional half-stack rig.
BLACK COMET / SAHARA WEDGEWOOD — ONLY 100 WORLDWIDE
And then there's the appearance.
The Black Comet Vinyl has a depth and visual texture that immediately separates this amplifier from standard Black Bronco MESA finishes, while the Sahara Wedgewood Grille creates an unusual contrast that feels simultaneously vintage and contemporary.
MESA produced only 100 of these unique amplifiers worldwide
That limited production is meaningful because the differences aren't purely cosmetic.
You're getting the special exterior appointments and the Celestion Vintage 30 speaker configuration.
For a Mark Series enthusiast, that makes this an especially interesting variation on an already outstanding amplifier.
At Northeast Music Center, we love MESA configurations that give players a legitimate reason to choose one particular amplifier over another. This limited Mark V:35 does exactly that.
Whether you're looking for articulate cleans, classic Boogie crunch, legendary Mark IIC+ and Mark IV voices, or aggressive modern high gain, the Mark V:35 can cover an enormous amount of territory.
And if you're going to own one, Northeast Music Center believes there's something particularly satisfying about owning one of only 100 made in a configuration that both looks and sounds different from the standard model.
One Celestion Vintage 30. Six MESA modes. Three power levels. Four EL84s. Only 100 worldwide.
This isn't simply a different-looking Mark V:35. It's a different Mark V:35.
