CHANNEL 1 – CLEAN / FAT / CRUNCH

Clean delivers articulate, open cleans with plenty of headroom.

Fat adds body and warmth for bigger clean and pushed sounds.

Crunch transforms Channel 1 into an authoritative rhythm voice capable of moving from edge-of-breakup through serious rock gain.

CHANNEL 2 – MARK IIC+ / MARK IV / EXTREME

This is unmistakable Mark Series territory.

Mark IIC+ delivers the tight, articulate high-gain response that helped establish the Mark Series legacy.

Mark IV moves toward a thicker, harmonically complex voice with tremendous sustain.

Extreme increases urgency, attack, and aggression for players who want the amplifier at its most powerful and immediate.

10 / 25 / 35-WATT MULTI-WATT POWER

Each channel independently selects between 10, 25, or 35 watts, giving you much more than a simple volume reduction.

The different power settings change the amplifier's response and feel.

35 Watts delivers maximum punch, headroom, and authority.

25 Watts retains substantial power while allowing the output section to work differently.

10 Watts uses two EL84s in Class A/B Triode operation for a softer, more harmonically rich response at lower output levels.

That means you can configure one channel for maximum clean headroom while running another at lower power for a more elastic, saturated feel.

THE BOOGIE 5-BAND GRAPHIC EQ

Few control layouts are as recognizable as MESA's five-band Graphic EQ.

It remains one of the Mark Series' most powerful tone-shaping tools.

Use it to sculpt classic Mark Series high-gain sounds, tighten the low end, alter midrange character, add presence, or completely reshape the amplifier after the main tone stack.

The EQ can be assigned independently to each channel as On, Off, or Footswitchable, making it useful as both a tone-shaping device and an additional live sound.

CHANNEL 1 MID/BOOST

Channel 1 includes another clever performance feature.

From 0–5, the control operates as a conventional Mid control. Move beyond 5 and it progressively becomes a variable gain boost.

That provides another layer of control for pushing Clean, Fat, and especially Crunch sounds without requiring an external boost pedal.

INDEPENDENT SOLO CONTROLS

The Mark Five: 35 gives each channel its own footswitchable Solo level.

Set your normal rhythm volume with the Channel Master and establish a separate Solo level for each channel.

When it's time to step forward in the mix, the additional level is already waiting.

For a working guitarist, that's an extremely useful feature.

ALL-TUBE SPRING REVERB + EFFECTS LOOP

MESA equips the Mark Five: 35 with all-tube long-tank spring reverb, with independent Reverb controls for each channel.

There's also a fully buffered series effects loop, giving delays, reverbs, modulation, and other time-based effects a proper place after the preamp.

This is an amplifier designed to function at the center of a complete professional guitar rig.

BUILT-IN CABCLONE

The integrated MESA CabClone adds another level of flexibility for recording, direct applications, and headphone practice.

cabinet simulation voices.

CabClone also provides an internal amplifier load, speaker On/Off switching, headphone output, and direct connectivity.

For recording late at night, practicing through headphones, or sending the amplifier directly into another system, it's an extremely practical addition.

CELESTION CUSTOM 90

The combo is loaded with a 12-inch, 8-ohm Celestion Custom 90.

The C90 is an excellent match for an amplifier with this much tonal range because it provides substantial headroom and a broad response rather than forcing every mode toward one particular speaker personality.

Clean stays clear.

Crunch has authority.

And the Mark IIC+, Mark IV, and Extreme modes retain the definition necessary for complex high-gain sounds.
