This Mark V: 35 combo comes with custom Black Bronco vinyl and Black Jute Grille. The Mark V: 35 is the flagship model in the world of Mesa/Boogie and can achieve a variety of tones that suits any style of player!

MESA/Boogie Mark V:35 1x12 Combo with Celestion Vintage 30 – Black Bronco, Black Jute Grille

A compact Mark Series powerhouse with a speaker configuration that gives this Mark V:35 an especially aggressive voice. Finished in classic Black Bronco with a Black Jute grille and loaded with a UK-made Celestion Vintage 30, this 35/25/10-watt all-tube combo puts six distinct MESA voices, channel-assignable Multi-Watt power, legendary 5-band Graphic EQ, all-tube spring reverb, CabClone, and four EL84s into one remarkably capable amplifier.

The MESA/Boogie Mark V:35 is much more than a smaller Mark amplifier.

It's a concentrated history of some of MESA's most celebrated tones.

Channel 1 moves through Clean, Fat, and Crunch. Channel 2 gives you Mark IIC+, Mark IV, and Xtreme—three voices tied directly to the Mark Series legacy.

Then MESA adds independently selectable 10-, 25-, or 35-watt power settings for each channel, the iconic 5-band Graphic EQ, independent Solo controls, long-tank all-tube spring reverb, a tube-buffered effects loop, and built-in CabClone cabinet simulation.

But this particular amplifier adds something important:

A Celestion Vintage 30.

The standard Mark V:35 combo is currently specified with a Celestion Custom 90. This Northeast Music Center example instead carries MESA's 8-ohm Celestion Vintage 30 configuration, giving the amp a different speaker personality with the famous V30 midrange presence, projection, and bite.

For the guitarist who wants the versatility and sophistication of a Mark Series amplifier with a little more of that unmistakable Vintage 30 attitude, this is a particularly compelling Mark V:35.

THE CELESTION VINTAGE 30 MAKES THIS ONE DIFFERENT

A standard current-production Mark V:35 combo is specified with an 8-ohm Celestion Custom 90.

This amplifier is different.

It has an 8-ohm Celestion Vintage 30.

MESA has also offered factory Mark V:35 configurations using the Vintage 30, confirming it as a legitimate speaker configuration for the platform.

The Vintage 30 is famous for its assertive midrange, projection, upper-mid presence, and ability to retain definition as gain increases.

That's an intriguing combination with a Mark amplifier.

The Mark preamp supplies enormous tonal range and precision.

The Vintage 30 adds its own recognizable voice and attack.

For Crunch, Mark IIC+, Mark IV, and Xtreme tones in particular, this speaker configuration gives the amplifier a compelling personality.

At Northeast Music Center, we wouldn't bury that specification at the bottom of the page.

The Vintage 30 is one of the reasons to choose this particular Mark V:35.

SIX AMPLIFIERS HIDING INSIDE ONE COMBO

The brilliance of the Mark V:35 is how much tonal history MESA managed to place inside a relatively compact amplifier.

CHANNEL 1 — CLEAN

Clear, articulate, dynamic MESA clean tone with enough headroom for pristine playing and a strong foundation for pedals.

CHANNEL 1 — FAT

A warmer, rounder clean voice with additional body and richness.

This is a beautiful choice for single coils, expressive clean playing, blues, jazz-influenced tones, and players who want more dimension from the clean side of the amplifier.

CHANNEL 1 — CRUNCH

Don't underestimate Crunch.

This mode pushes the Mark V:35 into muscular classic-rock and hard-rock territory with excellent harmonic complexity and response.

And Channel 1 has another trick.

Its Mid/Boost control functions as a traditional Mid control from 0–5, then transitions into a variable gain boost from 5–10, allowing substantially more overdrive to be brought into the channel.

That makes Channel 1 far more versatile than a simple "clean channel."

CHANNEL 2 — WHERE MARK SERIES HISTORY COMES ALIVE

This is where things become particularly interesting.

MARK IIC+

The Mark IIC+ is one of the most celebrated MESA amplifiers ever created.

Here, the Mark V:35 gives you a dedicated Mark IIC+ mode designed to capture that famous combination of tightness, articulation, harmonic gain, and fluid lead response.

Pair it with the Vintage 30 and there's serious authority available from this compact combo.

MARK IV

Switch to Mark IV and the personality changes.

This voice brings the warmer, rounder character associated with another enormously influential generation of the Mark Series.

It's rich.

Saturated.

Expressive.

And exceptionally rewarding for lead work.

XTREME

Then there's Xtreme.

This is the most aggressive voice on the amplifier.

Greater attack.

More urgency.

More authority.

More attitude.

For modern rock, heavier styles, progressive music, and players who want the Mark platform pushed toward its most aggressive personality, Xtreme delivers.

THE LEGENDARY MESA 5-BAND GRAPHIC EQ

Five sliders.

80 Hz

240 Hz

750 Hz

2200 Hz

6600 Hz

Few EQ circuits in guitar-amplifier history are as instantly recognizable as the MESA 5-band Graphic EQ.

It's not simply cosmetic.

The Graphic EQ allows substantial reshaping of the amplifier after the primary tone controls have done their work.

Want the famous Mark-style V curve?

It's there.

Want a mid-forward lead voice?

Absolutely.

Want to tighten the bottom end, control upper frequencies, or create dramatically different rhythm and lead EQ curves?

That's where this section becomes incredibly powerful.

The Graphic EQ can be channel assigned, switched on, bypassed, or controlled from the included footswitch.

For serious Mark players, this is one of the most important controls on the amplifier.

35 / 25 / 10 WATTS — PER CHANNEL

This isn't simply a master power switch.

Each channel gets its own Multi-Watt power selection.

Choose:

35 Watts

25 Watts

10 Watts

independently for each channel.

That creates some fascinating possibilities.

You could run:

Channel 1 Clean – 35 Watts

for maximum punch and clean headroom.

Then:

Channel 2 Mark IIC+ – 10 Watts

for a softer, more harmonically driven power-section response.

Or:

Channel 1 Crunch – 25 Watts

Channel 2 Mark IV – 35 Watts

The power setting becomes another part of building each channel's personality.

FOUR EL84s — BUT DON'T THINK "SMALL AMP"

The Mark V:35 uses four EL84 power tubes, continuing a MESA tradition that stretches through amplifiers such as the Caliber, Maverick, Nomad, and Lone Star families.

But this is not a conventional small EL84 combo.

At 35 watts, MESA's Dyna-Watt architecture provides substantial punch and dynamic headroom.

The amplifier can absolutely function as a serious stage amp.

And when less power is desirable, the 25- and 10-watt settings change both the output and response.

INDEPENDENT SOLO CONTROLS

Here's another feature that makes the Mark V:35 particularly useful for live performance.

Each channel gets its own Solo level.

The included four-button footswitch gives you control over:

Channel 1 / 2

Graphic EQ

Solo Channel 1

Solo Channel 2

Set your normal rhythm level.

Set the Solo control where you need it.

Step forward in the mix when the time comes.

No additional boost pedal required.

REAL ALL-TUBE LONG-TANK SPRING REVERB

The Mark V:35 also includes all-tube, long-tank spring reverb with independent controls for each channel.

That independence matters.

Your clean channel can be spacious and dimensional while your Mark IIC+ rhythm tone remains tighter and drier.

Or configure it completely differently.

It's another example of how much professional flexibility MESA packed into this amplifier.

CABCLONE — BUILT FOR STAGE, STUDIO AND HEADPHONES

The Mark V:35 includes MESA's original CabClone cabinet simulator, with:

Closed-Back

Open-Back

Vintage

cabinet voices, plus an internal amplifier load, headphone output, Speaker On/Off, and Ground Lift.

This is important to distinguish from the newer CabClone IR system found in amplifiers such as the Mark VII and Badlander.

The Mark V:35 uses the earlier analog CabClone cabinet-simulation system, not an impulse-response loader.

For the customer, however, the benefit is straightforward: additional options for direct recording, silent practice, and live connectivity without giving up the experience of playing a genuine all-tube Mark amplifier.

BLACK BRONCO + BLACK JUTE

Visually, this one keeps things classic.

Black Bronco vinyl.

Black Jute grille.

There's no need for this amplifier to shout visually.

The understated finish lets the Mark V:35's unmistakable front panel—and what happens when you turn it on—do the talking.

And because this particular example carries the Vintage 30 speaker, there's something appealing about having an amplifier that looks traditional while hiding a less-common speaker configuration inside.

44 POUNDS — SIX MODES AND A SERIOUS MARK RIG

The Mark V:35 Combo weighs 44 lbs. and measures only:

18⅛" H × 18¾" W × 11½" D.

Think about what's inside those dimensions:

Four EL84s.

Six 12AX7s.

Six amplifier modes.

Three channel-assignable power levels.

5-band Graphic EQ.

Long-tank tube spring reverb.

Independent Solo controls.

Tube-buffered effects loop.

CabClone.

Celestion Vintage 30.

That's an extraordinary amount of amplifier in a genuinely portable package.

A MARK SERIES AMPLIFIER YOU CAN TAKE ANYWHERE

This is ultimately why the Mark V:35 remains such a compelling amplifier.

It isn't merely versatile because it has a lot of switches.

It's versatile because those controls allow you to create meaningfully different guitar sounds.

Beautiful cleans.

Warm Fat tones.

Classic-rock Crunch.

Legendary Mark IIC+ character.

Mark IV saturation.

Aggressive Xtreme gain.

And then you can further shape those sounds with three power levels, the Graphic EQ, independent Reverb, independent Solo controls, and the character of that Celestion Vintage 30.

At Northeast Music Center, that's the story we'd want the customer to understand.

This isn't simply a 35-watt 1x12 combo.

It's a remarkably concentrated piece of MESA history.

And with this particular Black Bronco / Black Jute / Vintage 30 configuration, it's a Mark V:35 with a personality of its own.

Six modes. Three power levels. Four EL84s. 5-band Graphic EQ. Tube spring reverb. CabClone. Celestion Vintage 30.

A serious Mark Series rig you can carry in one hand.
