There's a reason the Rectifier cabinet design has become such an important part of the MESA sound.

The Vertical Slant 2x12 captures much of that experience while giving the player a cabinet that's considerably more manageable than a full 4x12.

MESA designed it with roughly the same internal area as its Horizontal Rectifier 2x12, so you're not sacrificing the substantial Rectifier 2x12 character simply because the speakers are arranged vertically.

TWO CELESTION ENGLAND MADE VINTAGE 30s

The cabinet is loaded with two rear-mounted Celestion Vintage 30 speakers for a combined 120 watts of power handling.

The Vintage 30 has become synonymous with serious rock and high-gain guitar tone for good reason.

It provides strong midrange presence, excellent articulation, controlled low end, and enough upper-mid character to help distorted guitar remain defined inside a dense band mix.

VERTICAL SLANT DESIGN

The upper speaker is angled toward the player.
