New from Mesa/Boogie comes the next step in their flagship series, the Mark VII! Years of development has led to this amp bringing the latest of tube amplifier technology and cabinet simulation/recording out for studio and session players to live gigging musicians alike!
A MAGNUM OPUS OF TONE The MARK VII™ is the “Magnum Opus” of Randall Smith’s 50+ year career in visionary amp design. This model takes that knowledge, history, innovation, and performance and distills it into the simplest, most versatile, and smallest 90-watt Mark Series amplifier ever.
Legendary Mark Series tone, nine distinct amplifier modes, 90 watts of Simul-Class power and a Celestion Custom 90—all wrapped in an extraordinary Indigo Python finish.
The MESA/Boogie Mark VII represents decades of Mark Series evolution distilled into one remarkably powerful 1x12 combo. From pristine cleans and muscular crunch to the celebrated voices of the Mark IIB, Mark IIC+ and Mark IV, the Mark VII gives serious players an enormous tonal vocabulary without sacrificing the feel and authority that made the Mark Series legendary.
And this one is anything but ordinary.
Finished in striking Indigo Python, this Mark VII transforms one of MESA's most sophisticated amplifiers into a visually distinctive piece worthy of a professional studio, stage, or serious collection.
Available from Northeast Music Center, this is the Mark VII for the player who wants world-class MESA performance with a look that stands far apart from a standard production combo.

THREE CHANNELS. NINE AMPLIFIERS WITHIN ONE MARK VII.
The heart of the Mark VII is its remarkable three-channel architecture.
CHANNEL 1 – CLEAN / FAT / CRUNCH
Start with shimmering, articulate MESA clean tone, move into the fuller and richer FAT voice, or select CRUNCH when you want added harmonic content and edge.
CHANNEL 2 – FAT / CRUNCH / MARK VII
Channel 2 moves from expressive lower-gain sounds into the amplifier's namesake Mark VII mode—a new MESA voice designed to deliver aggressive gain, clarity, punch and contemporary response.
CHANNEL 3 – MARK IIB / MARK IIC+ / MARK IV
This is where decades of Mark Series history come together.
The Mark VII gives you dedicated interpretations of three enormously important MESA voices: Mark IIB, Mark IIC+ and Mark IV.
The IIB delivers its distinctive character and attitude. The legendary Mark IIC+ brings the tight, articulate and harmonically rich high-gain response that helped make the original one of the most coveted MESA amplifiers ever produced. Switch to Mark IV and you get the saturated authority and flexibility that made another generation of Mark amplifiers famous.
This isn't simply a collection of high-gain sounds.
It's a journey through MESA/Boogie history inside one amplifier.
THE CELESTION CUSTOM 90 MATTERS
A great combo amplifier is only as convincing as the speaker translating everything the amplifier produces.
MESA equips the Mark VII with a 12-inch, 8-ohm Celestion Custom 90, a speaker with the power handling and tonal range required to complement an amplifier this versatile.
The C90 provides substantial low-end authority, strong midrange presence and clear high-frequency detail while handling the Mark VII's full 90-watt output.
Clean tones remain open and dimensional. Crunch retains definition. High-gain sounds have the punch and articulation necessary to keep complex chords and fast passages from disappearing into a wall of saturation.
For us at Northeast Music Center, the C90 isn't a specification to bury at the bottom of the page—it is an important part of why this compact Mark VII sounds as substantial as it does.
90 / 45 / 25 WATTS — ON EVERY CHANNEL
The Mark VII isn't simply a 90-watt amplifier with a master volume.
Each channel features MESA's Multi-Watt 90/45/25-watt power selection, allowing you to choose the power and response that best complement each individual sound.
At 90 watts, four power tubes deliver the authority, headroom and famous response of MESA's Simul-Class architecture.
At 45 watts, two power tubes operate in Class A Pentode for a different balance of punch, response and power.
Select 25 watts, and two power tubes operate in Class A Triode for a sweeter, more intimate response.
That means your clean channel can have maximum 90-watt headroom while another channel operates at 25 or 45 watts for an entirely different playing feel.
THE FIVE-BAND GRAPHIC EQ
Few control layouts in guitar amplification are as instantly recognizable as MESA's five sliders.
The Mark VII's 5-band Graphic EQ lets you shape frequencies at 80Hz, 240Hz, 750Hz, 2200Hz and 6600Hz, allowing substantial tonal changes beyond the amplifier's traditional tone controls.
And because the Graphic EQ can be assigned independently to the channels or controlled from the footswitch, it becomes a genuine performance tool rather than simply a set-it-and-forget-it EQ.
Want the classic MESA V-shaped response for high gain but a completely different EQ for your cleans?
You can have it.
CABCLONE IR — A MARK SERIES BUILT FOR THE MODERN WORLD
The Mark VII may carry decades of MESA heritage, but its connectivity is thoroughly modern.
Built-in CabClone IR provides eight MESA cabinet impulse responses, with each channel able to have its own IR assignment.
Even more importantly, the Mark VII includes an internal reactive load, allowing the amplifier to be operated without a speaker cabinet when using its direct-recording capabilities.
That opens up tremendous possibilities for silent recording, direct-to-PA performance and late-night headphone playing while still using the amplifier's genuine tube preamp and power section.
A balanced XLR IR output, dry line output, headphone output and USB connectivity further expand the Mark VII's usefulness in a modern studio or live environment.
MIDI CONTROL WITH 256 PRESET LOCATIONS
For players running sophisticated pedalboards, switching systems or professional touring rigs, the Mark VII also provides full MIDI implementation.
Channels, Reverb, Effects Loop and Graphic EQ can be controlled through MIDI, with 256 programmable preset locations available.
The included six-button footswitch provides immediate traditional control when you don't need MIDI.
INDIGO PYTHON — THIS IS NOT YOUR ORDINARY MARK VII
Then there's the appearance.
The Indigo Python treatment takes the classic compact Boogie silhouette and gives it an entirely different personality.
Under stage lighting, in a studio, or simply sitting in a serious guitar room, this is an amplifier people are going to notice.
And that's exactly why configurations like this appeal to us at Northeast Music Center.
The Mark VII is already one of MESA's flagship amplifiers. When you're investing in an amplifier at this level, there is something special about owning a version that doesn't look like every other Mark VII sitting on a stage.
Northeast Music Center is proud to offer distinctive MESA/Boogie amplifiers like this Indigo Python Mark VII to players who want more than simply another piece of equipment.
This is an amplifier that can move from beautiful cleans to classic crunch, from vintage Mark Series voices to devastating modern gain, from a traditional 1x12 combo to a silent direct-recording system—all without abandoning the tube-driven character that built the MESA/Boogie reputation.
One Celestion Custom 90. Three channels. Nine modes. Three selectable power levels. Four generations of Mark Series DNA.
And one unforgettable Indigo Python Mark VII.
