MESA/Boogie Mark VII All-Tube Amplifier Head – Purple Bronco / Cream & Tan Grille

Three channels. Nine distinct MESA voices. 90/45/25-watt Simul-Class power. Mark IIB, Mark IIC+, Mark IV and the modern Mark VII mode. Finished in spectacular Purple Bronco with a Cream & Tan Grille, this is MESA’s flagship Mark Series performance with unmistakable custom Boogie personality.

The MESA/Boogie Mark VII represents more than five decades of Mark Series development brought together in one remarkably compact professional amplifier.

It can move from dimensional American cleans and rich Boogie crunch to the legendary Mark IIC+ and Mark IV voices, reach farther back into MESA history with Mark IIB, and then move forward with the aggressive modern Mark VII high-gain mode.

And this particular Mark VII looks anything but ordinary.

The combination of Purple Bronco covering with a Cream & Tan Grille gives the amplifier the boutique, individually configured character that has been part of the Boogie tradition since the earliest Mark Series amplifiers.

Available from Northeast Music Center, this is an exceptional choice for the serious player who wants the extraordinary versatility of the Mark VII but also wants a MESA that stands apart visually.

THREE CHANNELS. NINE MESA VOICES.

The Mark VII isn't simply a three-channel amplifier.

Each channel contains three carefully selected modes, creating nine distinct starting points without turning the amplifier into a menu-driven digital platform.

Everything remains centered around the response and interaction of a genuine all-tube MESA amplifier.

CHANNEL 1 — CLEAN / FAT / CRUNCH

Clean provides the articulate, dimensional foundation expected from a great MESA clean platform.

Fat adds body, warmth and harmonic richness.

Crunch moves naturally into muscular overdrive and classic-rock territory.

For many players, Channel 1 alone contains enough range to cover an entire performance.

CHANNEL 2 — FAT / CRUNCH / MARK VII

Having Fat and Crunch available again is extremely useful because Channel 2 has its own Gain, EQ, Presence, Master, Reverb, Graphic EQ assignment and power setting.

You can build two dramatically different sounds around the same basic mode.

Then comes Mark VII.

This is the amplifier's modern high-gain voice—tight, aggressive and articulate, designed to move the Mark Series forward rather than simply revisit another historic circuit.

CHANNEL 3 — MARK IIB / MARK IIC+ / MARK IV

This is where the Mark VII becomes especially interesting for longtime Boogie players.

Mark IIB. Mark IIC+. Mark IV.

Three enormously important generations of Mark Series history are represented within a single channel. MESA officially confirms all nine mode assignments across the three channels.

The Mark IIC+ mode brings the tight attack, saturation, clarity and harmonic complexity associated with one of the most coveted amplifiers MESA has ever built.

Mark IV delivers another legendary generation of Mark Series gain with its own character and feel.

And Mark IIB reaches deeper into Boogie history for a different voice altogether.

This isn't a collection of digital models.

These voices live inside a five-12AX7, four-6L6 all-tube amplifier.

90 / 45 / 25 WATTS — ASSIGNABLE PER CHANNEL

This is one of the most useful features of the Mark VII.

Each channel can independently operate at 90, 45 or 25 watts.

At 90 watts, all four power tubes operate through MESA's celebrated Simul-Class architecture.

At 45 watts, two tubes operate in Class A Pentode.

At 25 watts, two tubes operate in Class A Triode.

That means power isn't simply a global choice.

It's part of programming each channel.

Run Clean at 90 watts for maximum headroom.

Put Crunch at 45 watts for a different response.

Set your high-gain channel at 25 watts for yet another power-section feel.

You're not merely changing volume—you are changing the way the amplifier responds beneath your hands.

THE FIVE LEGENDARY SLIDERS

A Mark Series amplifier almost doesn't look complete without them.

The Mark VII includes MESA's legendary 5-band Graphic EQ, and it can be independently assigned to each channel as On, Off or Footswitchable.

Create the famous scooped Mark rhythm response.

Push the mids for leads.

Add low-frequency authority.

Change the upper attack.

Or use the Graphic EQ as a second level of precise tone shaping beyond the traditional Treble, Mid and Bass controls.

Those five sliders remain one of the most powerful tools on a Mark Series amplifier.

CABCLONE IR — WHERE CLASSIC BOOGIE MEETS THE MODERN STUDIO

The Mark VII may be deeply rooted in MESA history, but its recording capabilities are thoroughly modern.

Built directly into the amplifier is MESA's CabClone IR system.

Each channel can be assigned one of eight MESA cabinet IRs, allowing your Clean, Crunch and Lead sounds to have completely different direct cabinet configurations.

You also get:

Balanced XLR IR output

Dry +4dB Line Output

Headphone output

USB IR management

IR level control

And most importantly:

An internal amplifier load.

That internal load allows the Mark VII to operate without a speaker cabinet connected.

For recording musicians, that's a serious advantage.

You can record through a genuine four-6L6 MESA tube amplifier while monitoring silently through the CabClone IR system.

No microphone required.

No cabinet required.

No compromise to the fact that the amplifier generating the signal is a real Mark Series tube amp.

MIDI + 256 PRESET LOCATIONS

The Mark VII can also become the centerpiece of a sophisticated professional rig.

MIDI Program Change and Control Change functionality provides 256 preset locations, with MIDI control over Channels 1–3, Reverb, Effects Loop and Graphic EQ.

For the touring guitarist running a MIDI controller or effects processor, that opens up powerful switching possibilities.

But MESA doesn't require you to use any of it.

The included six-button footswitch provides immediate conventional control over all three channels plus Reverb, Effects Loop and Graphic EQ.

Simple when you want it.

Sophisticated when you need it.

PURPLE BRONCO / CREAM & TAN — THIS ONE HAS PERSONALITY

This is where your particular Mark VII becomes special.

Purple Bronco.

Cream & Tan Grille.

The combination completely changes the personality of the amplifier.

MESA/Boogie has a long tradition of building amplifiers in unusual coverings, hardwood cabinets, wicker grilles and custom cosmetic combinations. That individuality became part of the Boogie identity decades ago.

This Mark VII continues that tradition.

Underneath is one of the most technologically advanced Mark Series amplifiers MESA has ever produced.

Outside is a configuration that immediately looks like something personally selected rather than pulled from a row of identical black amplifiers.

That matters on an amplifier at this level.

At Northeast Music Center, we think a serious instrument or amplifier should inspire you before you even switch it on.

This one does.

ONE MARK AMPLIFIER THAT CAN COVER AN EXTRAORDINARY AMOUNT OF MUSIC

The real achievement of the Mark VII isn't simply that it has nine modes.

It's that those modes span an enormous amount of MESA history while remaining inside one coherent amplifier.

Clean.

Fat.

Crunch.

Mark IIB.

Mark IIC+.

Mark IV.

Mark VII.

Add the Graphic EQ, three independently assignable power levels, spring reverb, CabClone IR and MIDI, and you have an amplifier capable of moving between remarkably different musical environments without abandoning the feel of a real tube amp.

At Northeast Music Center, that's why we see the Mark VII as much more than another high-gain amplifier.

It's a professional Mark Series platform.

And this Purple Bronco / Cream & Tan version gives the player something the standard Black Bronco model can't:

Individuality.

For the longtime Boogie enthusiast, touring musician, studio guitarist, collector or player finally buying the Mark amplifier they've always wanted, Northeast Music Center is proud to offer a Mark VII that looks every bit as distinctive as it sounds.

Three channels. Nine modes. 90/45/25 watts. Mark IIB. Mark IIC+. Mark IV. Mark VII. Graphic EQ. CabClone IR. MIDI.

More than five decades of Boogie evolution—dressed in Purple Bronco.
