PRS Tekton SVN 7-String Figured Mango Bloodstone Red  Black Satin Neck (s/n:)! Guitar comes with PRS Premier GigBag!

Product Description:

Seven Strings. No Compromises.

The PRS Tekton SVN in Bloodstone Red makes a powerful first impression. Its figured mango top wears a striking Bloodstone Red finish, complemented by a black satin maple neck, ebony fingerboard, and smoked black hardware. The darker neck gives this version of the SVN a particularly aggressive appearance, but there's much more to this guitar than its looks. It's a thoughtfully designed, American-made seven-string built for players who demand clarity, precision, and comfort.

The 26.5" scale length is central to the Tekton SVN's design. It provides additional string tension and helps maintain definition in the lower register, particularly when playing the low B string through high-gain amplification. Tight rhythm passages have the focused response needed for modern metal and progressive music, while the extended range opens up possibilities for more elaborate chord voicings, melodic arrangements, and creative songwriting.

Despite its extended scale and seven-string configuration, the SVN is designed to feel comfortable in the hands. PRS developed the Modern “D” SVN neck profile specifically for this model, balancing the wider fingerboard with a refined shape that encourages fluid movement. The black satin nitro neck finish feels smooth and unobtrusive, while the 16" radius ebony fingerboard provides a comfortable playing surface for demanding techniques.

The 24 PRS jumbo stainless steel frets are another welcome feature. Their smooth playing surface and durability make them particularly well suited to an instrument designed for frequent, technically demanding use. From rapid alternate picking and legato passages to expressive bends and precise chord work, the Tekton SVN provides the foundation for confident playing.

Its figured mango top adds an appealing element of natural craftsmanship to an otherwise modern design. Beneath the Bloodstone Red finish, the wood's individual figuring gives each guitar its own visual character. The mahogany back, shallow violin carve, and sculpted body contours contribute to a comfortable instrument that sits naturally against the player, while the bolt-on maple neck provides a direct, responsive feel.

The PRS Stylus SVN pickups were developed specifically for the seven-string Tekton platform. These humbuckers are voiced for articulation, dynamic response, and clarity across the instrument's extended frequency range. Under high gain, low notes remain focused and complex chords retain their separation. When playing clean or with moderate overdrive, the pickups respond to picking dynamics and reveal a more nuanced side of the instrument.

The Stylus SVN pickups are equally comfortable through traditional amplifiers and modern digital modeling systems. Whether your setup revolves around a tube amp, a sophisticated floor processor, or recording software, the Tekton SVN is designed to deliver a consistent, musical response.

The controls are straightforward: master volume, push/pull tone, and a three-way blade pickup selector. The push/pull tone control provides coil splitting, giving players access to brighter, more open sounds in addition to the full humbucker voices. That versatility makes the SVN useful for everything from aggressive rhythm work to atmospheric cleans and expressive lead playing.

A PRS seven-string hardtail bridge with individual saddles allows for precise intonation, while its string-through-body design is intended to promote resonance and sustain. PRS Phase III locking tuners provide dependable tuning performance and make string changes easier. Together with the smoked black hardware, they complete a guitar designed around practical performance.

At Northeast Music Center, we've spent decades working with PRS guitars, and the Tekton SVN is an exciting example of how the company continues to expand its lineup. The Bloodstone Red version has a particularly distinctive personality, combining the natural beauty of figured mango with a black satin neck and performance-oriented hardware.

The contrast between the Bloodstone Red top and black satin neck is especially appealing. It gives the instrument a darker, more contemporary look without losing the craftsmanship and attention to detail associated with PRS.

As a PRS Signature Dealer, Northeast Music Center has extensive firsthand experience with the company's instruments. We understand that choosing a seven-string guitar involves important considerations, particularly neck feel, scale length, pickup response, and overall balance.

When you purchase your PRS Tekton SVN from Northeast Music Center, you're working with a team that knows PRS guitars and takes pride in helping players find instruments that genuinely suit their music.
