PRS Tekton T Fuchsia Aura (s/n:)! Guitar comes with PRS Premier GigBag!

Product Description:

The PRS Tekton T in Fuchsia Aura is a striking addition to the new Tekton family, bringing together bold styling, modern playability, and the expressive versatility of a tremolo-equipped electric guitar. With its figured mango top, sculpted body, black satin maple neck, and purpose-built PRS Stylus pickups, the Tekton T was designed for musicians who want an instrument that can keep up with their technique while inspiring them to explore new musical possibilities.

Fuchsia Aura gives this guitar a personality all its own. The vibrant finish works beautifully with the distinctive figuring of the mango top, allowing the natural character of the wood to show through. Paired with Smoked Black hardware and a black satin-finished maple neck, the result is a bold, contemporary appearance that suits the Tekton's performance-oriented design.

But the real appeal of the Tekton T goes well beyond its looks.

A Fresh Approach to PRS Guitar Design

The Tekton family was developed through years of experience and feedback from musicians looking for a faster, more comfortable playing experience. Rather than modifying an existing PRS model, the company created a new instrument platform designed around the needs of contemporary guitarists.

Its subtly offset body shape draws inspiration from the Vela and Custom designs, combining familiar PRS styling with a fresh silhouette. The figured mango top and mahogany back are shaped with a shallow violin carve, comfortable body contours, and a sculpted neck heel that provides excellent access to the upper frets.

The thinner body feels comfortable against the player, making the guitar well suited for extended practice sessions, recording, and live performance.

The Modern D neck profile is PRS's thinnest standard-production neck carve, developed to provide speed and precision without sacrificing comfort. Its black satin nitro finish creates a smooth playing surface, while the maple construction and bolt-on design contribute to the instrument's responsive feel.

A 25.5" scale length, 16" ebony fingerboard radius, and 24 stainless steel jumbo frets provide a modern foundation for demanding playing styles. The flatter fingerboard accommodates wide bends, fast alternate picking, intricate lead passages, and complex chord voicings.

PRS also incorporated slightly wider string spacing, giving the picking hand additional room for accurate articulation. Offset fingerboard inlays complement the guitar's contemporary appearance while maintaining a clean, uncluttered look.

PRS Stylus Pickups – Modern Tone with Musical Character

At the heart of the Tekton T are the new PRS Stylus pickups, developed specifically for this guitar family.

PRS designed these pickups to deliver aggressive tones without sacrificing clarity, articulation, or dynamic response. Their output is more even than many conventional humbuckers, allowing individual notes to remain defined even when playing through heavily driven amplifiers.

The Stylus pickups are particularly well suited to modern digital guitar systems. Whether you're playing through a traditional tube amplifier, using a digital modeling platform, or recording directly through an interface, they provide a responsive foundation for a wide variety of sounds.

The electronics are intentionally straightforward, featuring a master volume, push/pull tone control, and three-way blade pickup selector.

The push/pull tone control provides coil splitting, allowing players to move between full humbucker tones and brighter, more open split-coil sounds. PRS developed the Stylus pickups so that both full and split settings remain musically useful, providing versatility without complicated switching arrangements.

From articulate clean passages to saturated lead tones, the Tekton T offers the clarity and responsiveness needed for a wide range of musical styles.

PRS Two-Point Tremolo – More Ways to Shape Your Sound

The defining feature of the Tekton T is its PRS Two-Point Tremolo with a steel plate and brass saddles.

Designed for expressive performance, the classic two-point mounting system provides smooth tremolo operation and supports a floating setup. This gives players the ability to add controlled pitch movement and vibrato directly into their playing.

Subtle tremolo movement can add warmth and expression to sustained chords, while more pronounced pitch changes can bring additional character to lead passages.

The steel plate provides a solid foundation for the bridge, while the brass saddles contribute to the guitar's resonance and tonal response.

PRS Phase III locking tuners complement the tremolo system, providing dependable tuning performance and making string changes more convenient.

For guitarists who enjoy the precision of a modern performance instrument but also want the freedom to incorporate expressive vibrato, the Tekton T offers an excellent combination.

A New Direction for PRS at Northeast Music Center

At Northeast Music Center, we've worked closely with PRS guitars for decades, and we've watched the company continually refine its instruments while developing new ideas for different kinds of players.

The Tekton T represents a particularly interesting addition to the lineup because it introduces an entirely new body shape, neck profile, pickup system, and tremolo design. These features work together to create a guitar that feels comfortable, responsive, and ready for demanding musical situations.

The Fuchsia Aura finish gives this model an especially distinctive appearance. Its figured mango top, black satin maple neck, and Smoked Black hardware create a cohesive look that stands apart from more traditional PRS designs.

With more than 30 years of Jack Gretz selling PRS guitars and 15 years of Northeast Music Center representing the brand, we appreciate the craftsmanship and attention to detail that go into developing an instrument like the Tekton T.

For musicians exploring progressive rock, fusion, modern metal, or any style that benefits from precise playability and expressive tremolo control, the PRS Tekton T in Fuchsia Aura offers a fresh and versatile playing experience.

Northeast Music Center is proud to offer this exciting new PRS model, complete with its PRS Premium Gig Bag.
